Okra is a flowering plant known for its edible seed pods. It?s cultivated in warm and tropical climates, such as those in Africa and South Asia. Okra or Okro, Abelmoschus esculentus, known in many English-speaking countries as ladies’ fingers or ochro, is a flowering plant in the mallow family. It has edible green seed pods. The geographical origin of okra is disputed, with supporters of West African, Ethiopian, Southeast Asian, and South Asian origins.

Packet Contains: 1 Pack of Bhindi Seeds/Okra Seeds Superior Quality, Non-Hybrid, Pure, Open Pollinated, GMO-Free, And Heirloom ,tested for germination.

High Quality Seeds: Best quality organic seeds for home gardeners.

Season of Sowing: Lady Finger seeds indoors in pots and transplant them when the weather warms up. However, if you live in warmer climates then you can directly plant them outdoors. Okra thrives in full-heat sun, place the plant in a spot that receives 5-6 hours of sunlight or else it won’t produce much fruit.

Mode of Sowing: The plant grows best in the soil with a PH level between 6.5-7. You can have your soil tested or check soil quality at home. If you would prefer not to change your soil’s Ph level, then simply add compost material to your soil to make it nutrition-rich. Okra grows well in soil that is packed with nutrients.
Health Benefits: Okra is an excellent source of vitamins C and K1. Vitamin C is a water-soluble nutrient that contributes to your overall immune function, while vitamin K1 is a fat-soluble vitamin that’s known for its role in blood clotting. Maintaining healthy blood sugar levels is very important for your overall health. Consistently high blood sugar can lead to prediabetes and type 2 diabetes.
